Is your GoPro completely dead, refusing to charge, or showing no signs of life even with a brand-new battery? Internal component failures, corrupted firmware chips, or broken charging gates can cause a camera to stop turning on entirely.
We provide professional power fault diagnostics and component-level repairs across the UK to bring dead action cameras back to life.
⚠️ Why We Don’t Quote Over Phone or Email
A GoPro that won’t turn on can have a dozen different internal root causes. It could be a simple broken USB charging port connector, or it could be a fatal short circuit hidden deep inside the layers of the main motherboard logic chips.
Because we cannot diagnose electrical micro-components without testing them under a microscope, we require a physical inspection before giving a final quote.
To protect your repair budget while covering our technical workshop disassembly labour, we run a transparent two-tier pricing structure for all modern GoPro models (Hero 9 through 13):
1. The Upfront Power Inspection ( £20.00)
Every dead camera booking starts with £20 inspection fee, older models £14.99. This covers the technical labour required to safely strip down the housing frame, isolate the power rails, and systematically test the motherboard circuit traces under a thermal imaging camera to locate the exact breakdown point.
2. Fixed-Price Repair Options (Within 3 Working Days)
Within 3 working days of arrival at our Witney center, we will finish diagnostics and contact you with an exact fixed quote:
* **Minor Circuit / Component Repair:** If it is a minor power management chip failure, loose solder connection, or firmware issue, the fix is kept flat and affordable.
* **Full Motherboard Replacement:** If the core motherboard is entirely fried and requires a total swap, replacements range cleanly between £100 and £180 depending on the model.
* **Beyond Repair:** If the logic board is structurally cracked or unfixable, you pay nothing more. Your absolute maximum risk is just the initial £20 diagnostic booking fee.
